Parent Session

Support for parents and caregivers to manage stress, better understand their child, and strengthen their ability to support their child's emotional and behavioral needs.


You cannot pour from an empty cup. These sessions are a collaborative, judgement-free space designed to support your well-being, untangle complex parenting challenges, and give you actionable strategies to support your child.

What We Focus on in Sessions

  • Caregiver Well-Being: Prioritizing your own mental health and finding practical ways to lower daily parenting stress.
  • De-coding Behavior: Deepening your understanding of your child's unique emotional, behavioral, or developmental needs.
  • Outbursts & Big Emotions: Learning how to co-regulate and effectively manage challenging behaviors or intense meltdowns.
  • Routines That Work: Building realistic parenting strategies, predictable routines, and boundaries that fit your family dynamic.
  • Creating Consistency: Developing unified approaches and language across home, school, and community settings.

Who This Is For

  • Parents and caregivers seeking guidance and support 
  • Families navigating behavioural, emotional, or developmental concerns 
  • Caregivers experiencing stress, burnout, or parenting challenges

Family Sessions

Family therapy brings parents, caregivers, and children together to heal, connect, and grow as a team. This approach is especially powerful for younger children, who naturally express and process their needs best when their safe adults are actively involved. Together, we work to reshape the family dynamic so everyone feels heard.

What We Focus on in Sessions

  • Opening Communication: Breaking down old barriers and learning how to truly hear and speak to one another.
  • Resolving Conflict: Shifting away from repetitive arguments and developing shared, collaborative problem-solving skills.
  • Shared Emotional Regulation: Creating a home environment where everyone feels safe expressing big emotions without disrupting family peace.
  • Caregiver Consistency: Helping all adults in the household get on the same page with boundaries and parenting strategies.
  • Rebuilding Bonds: Repairing fractured dynamics and strengthening the foundational parent-child relationship.

Who This Is For

  • Families experiencing ongoing conflict or communication difficulties 
  • Families adjusting to major life transitions or developmental challenges 
  • Parents seeking collaborative support to strengthen family functioning

Program Details

  • Format: In-person family sessions 
  • Session Length: Approximately 90 minutes
